FAQ

Q: I see your prices, what are the hidden costs?

A: There are none. Everything that is stated in the package is included and we also list what is not included such as prints. Now if you want additional images, fine art or special edits (removing undergarments, making someone skinny) then there are additional costs involved for those. We like to be upfront about all additional costs. We want you to know exactly how much it will cost.

Q: How many dresses can I wear in a one hour Maternity Session?

A: That is up to you. It all depends on your tolerance level and how quickly you can change. In a typical one hour session, we can get through 3 dress if the spouse/children are involved or 4-5 dresses if there is no spouse or children.

Q: How do I book?

A: Click Book Now to see what we have available and book a session at your convenience. Weekend dates tend to book up quickly. if you have a date in mind book early to guarantee a spot.

Q: What is a mini session?

A: Our mini's are special sessions. These sessions are back to back with only one set up. Mini Sessions are typically only one day. Mini Sessions are marked at a lower price and are shorter. Mini Sessions only include color corrected photos and do not include extensive editing such as skin, clothing, etc..

Q: Are outfits provided for all sessions?

A: No, we only provide outfits for Mom to be during Maternity Sessions, Baby during Newborn Sessions and Birthday Child during Cake Smash Sessions.

Q: What does it mean when it says "images of your choice"?

A: At the end of your session, I will send you a preview gallery where you will see all the images taken. The good and the bad. These images are straight out of camera with no edits. From there you pick which images you like. Once complete, I take those images and edit them. Meaning making them look all pretty and cleaning them up a little. I like to get it right in camera in order to minimize how much editing an image needs. Therefore, your final images will not look drastically different from the proof images.

Q: How long do you keep photos?

A: We keep final photos in your gallery for 3 months. All photos are kept in the LEP Cloud for 6 months and then are permanently deleted, regardless if images have been chosen or not.

Q: How do your packages work?

A: Each package includes a certain amount of digital images. In your proof gallery, you will see all pictures that were taken completely unedited, straight from the camera. From there you pick your packaged amount photos. Once I receive your selection, I edit all those photos and send them back for final review. Once that is complete your photos will be ready to be downloaded.

Q: How will I get my photos?

A: Timeline varies per person, within the first 3 days of your shoot, I will email you a link to a gallery with all the raw footage of your shoot. These photos will not be color corrected or have any edits at all. These images are straight from the camera and converted into JPEG files. From there you will decide which photos will be fully edited depending on your package. For example if your package includes 20 images, you will pick 20 images. If you want more images you can select those to purchase. Additional images must be purchased before editing will begin. Once I receive your choice, I will begin editing. Once that is completed, I will send you another email letting you know that your gallery is all set and ready for download. Editing time varies throughout the year, average waiting time is 4-6 weeks or longer during holiday season.

Q: How do you do Newborn sessions?

A: All newborn shoots are done in my studio. I allow extra time to accommodate the baby's schedule. I follow the babies lead in the shoot. If the baby is not comfortable in a certain pose we move onto the next. I do not force the baby into any position that they are not comfortable in. If the baby is fussy, we take breaks for extra feedings and cuddles to calm the baby. We do not rush this session at all. Babies are delicate beings and will be treated as such.

Q: When should I book a newborn session?

A: Well, when they are still new. I am trained and knowledgeable to care for infants. Along with Newborn safety in posing.  I do recommend taking pictures within the first 10 days of life. After that most babies do not want to get into those cute little poses that all parents want and often it is not safe for them due to muscle growth. I have worked with older babies but parents must be aware their pictures may look different compared to a younger babies pictures.

Q: What if I have an outdoor shoot and it rains?

A: We have no issue rescheduling due to weather or illness. We want your pictures as perfect as you do.

Q: Do you travel?

A: Yes, I am based in the Southcoast of Massachusetts but we will travel up to 30 minutes from Fall River, MA. However, all our Newborn sessions are done in studio only.

Q: Do I have to order prints through you?

A: Of course not! All packages include a photo release that is embedded into your photo. This allows you to print your photos for personal use only anywhere you want. However, if you choose to print with us, we use a professional printing company that guarantees the best quality in colors and clarity. We are not responsible for quality of images printed by a 3rd party.

Q: Do all my photos get posted to social media?

A: No, during booking you can choose if I am allowed to share or not.

Q: How do I pay?

A: We accept all major credit cards through our booking site. All sessions offer payment plans. You may go back into your account and pay as much as you wish after the full retainer has been paid. We also accept in studio, credit cards, apple pay, venmo, and cash. We currently to not accept checks or zelle.
